This has got to have been one of my favourite books to work on.
The story has a strange mythic quality that is somehow bent and distorted, a little like Nacky himself. I used a kind of 'fish-eye' perspective for the spots to try and convey the surreal quality of the world and characters Jeffrey Kluger has invented.
